Young Jamaican Reggae Artist Ricky Nevado Debut Single, ‘Rock Me’

At the age of 21, Nevado is inching ever so closer to his dreams, carrying a mutual admiration for his mentors and a deep love to write and play the piano. He recently struck a deal with U.S. based record label, Kong Star Records.

Ricky was born Nevado Wellington in St. Catherine, Jamaica, home to notable artists like Christopher Martin, Spice, and Tony Curtis. He developed an early passion for music, and encouraged by family and friends, revealed his virtuoso talent at church, school and local competitions.

Ricky Nevado has opened for Grammy Award winning reggae group Morgan Heritage in Hartford, Connecticut. He was also the band leader and pianist for Future Vibration Band.
