PHOTO HIGHLIGHT: Rasta Shop Opens In Myanmar

Love for everything Rasta and Reggae has been on the rise abroad especially in Asian and African countries and a group of friends, Pyae Phyo, 27, Ko Htet, 28, and Naung Naung, 27, are capitalizing on the growing demand for all things rasta and reggae in their home country, Myanmar.

Striped in red, yellow and green, and emblazoned with a huge mural of a laughing Bob Marley, Rasta Myanmar is the country’s first ever reggae shop. The establishment is located on Pinlone Road in Dagon Township and is the physical store that grew out of their online Facebook business which has been running for two years.
