Yesterday, I was privileged to be a guest at the Power Networking Conference held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Prince George’s county, Maryland, where black innovation, black ingenuity, black economics and black success was on display in all its black majestic glory.
I was in a room filled with black and it was beautiful. People who knew who they were, what they wanted to achieve, and believed in their ability to succeed despite the odds.
I was in a room filled with black and it was beautiful!
I met millionaires, motivational speakers and young entrepreneurs building great businesses across multiple industries like fin-tech, manufacturing, hospitality, health, media, advertising and branding, tourism, etc., I was inspired and encouraged by the pride and success that I saw in the room. I left beaming with hope for the future success of the black community and my own success as a young black entrepreneur.
